We provide catalysts-coated cathodes, flow plates, anode coated with OER catalyst, gasket and full set of electrolyzers including both flow cells and membrane-electrode assembly (MEA), with standard active area of 5cm2, or 25cm2. Our patent-pending flow field design on cathode side can minimize the salting out and clogging of the gas flow channels. Our patent-pending cathode design allows the use of superhydrophobic PTFE film as the gas diffusion layer to minimize the flooding issue (as in the case of using carbon paper as gas diffusion layer), while electrical current can still be delivered to the catalytic layer without suffering from high series resistance. Our electrolyzer system can achieve over 80% in Faradaic efficiency for electrocatalytic CO2 to C2 (mainly ethylene and ethanol) conversion when properly installed and used.
